The story begins in late 1950´s when Nauticat moulded its first small fibreglass boats.
In the 1960's and 1970's, the designer was W. Aarnipalo (Nauticat 33, 36 and 44).
In the 1980's, the designer was the office of Sparkman & Stephens (Nauticat 521, 40 and 43).
Since 1986, the designer was Kaj Gustafsson (Nauticat 32, 35, 39, 42, 515).
In 1990 the yard took over the motorboat manufacturer Oy Flipper Ab.

Established by Lamberto Tacoli und Norberto Ferretti in 1996.
Today, the yard belongs to Ferretti Group.

Swedish boat builder founded by Ivar Gustafsson and best known for it's luxury powerboats. The company is located at Västervik, Sweden. Still in business building large yachts and commercial craft.

A company created in 1958, Pearson Yachts quickly became a high production builder of sailing yachts. At one time building a boat every day, types of fiberglass boats sold under the Pearson Yachts name ranged from the 12-foot Petrel to a 53-foot vessel. Controlled by Grumman Allied Industries since 1961, Pearson Yachts was sold to a private investment company in 1986 that would incorporate large powerboats in later years. Pearson Yachts history ended 1991 but the several brand names of the marine company would combine into another manufacturer.

In 1976, Oy Botnia Marine Ab was founded by Johan and Britt-Marie Carpelan.

Founded under the name Sipla in Forli (Italy) in 1961. At the beginning of the 1970ies the name changed to Comar.
