The passenger seat folds down to form a flat lounge seat for basking in the sun. The famed Yamaha transom seats are also upholstered on this boat and have a shower and music controls in easy reach.

The 242 brings the sports tower into the picture. The tower folds down with a turn of a wrench for low bridges and storage. A bimini shade is mounted on the tower for hotter days.

The helm is outfitted with a Garmin GPS-fishfinder, Fusion stereo and a swiveling Captain's chair. SeaDek non-skid flooring is installed throughout the cockpit and on the swim platform.
