Hunter 33 (zeilboot) - verkoop

Remarks :
This 2015 Marlow Legend 33 Bilge Keel presents an excellent opportunity to acquire a highly specified and particularly well-maintained cruising yacht from long-term ownership. Designed to combine comfortable accommodation with practical sailing characteristics, the bilge keel configuration offers exceptional flexibility for cruising tidal waters, drying moorings and exploring shallow harbours without compromising the enjoyable sailing performance for which the Legend range is known.

The cockpit is spacious and well arranged, benefiting from the distinctive mainsheet arch arrangement, full cockpit enclosure, cockpit cushions and Flexiteak decking. Recent additions include davits fitted in 2025, while the sprayhood was upgraded with new vinyl windows in 2024. Wide side decks and numerous handholds make moving around the deck straightforward whether underway or in harbour.

Below decks, the warm cherry wood interior creates an inviting atmosphere with accommodation for up to six across two cabins and the convertible saloon. The generous aft cabin, forward double berth, practical galley and separate heads compartment make the boat well suited to extended cruising. Comfort is further benefitted by Webasto heating, serviced in 2025, together with hot and cold pressurised water, microwave, refrigerator and digital entertainment systems.

Sailing systems include in-mast furling, Furlex headsail furling and all control lines led aft, helping to simplify handling. Navigation equipment is comprehensive, featuring Raymarine i70 instrumentation, Raymarine touchscreen chartplotter with radar and AIS, autopilot, VHF/DSC radio and Navtex.

The yacht has benefitted from consistent maintenance throughout ownership, including annual servicing, antifouling completed in 2025, replacement running rigging, a new shower pump and installation of a water purification system in 2025. Supplied with tender, this well-equipped Legend 33 offers a compelling package for sailors seeking comfortable cruising accommodation combined with the practicality of bilge keels.

Brokers Remarks
I have known the owners of Gorvean for many years and have been involved in both the purchase and sale of several of their boats over that time. They are experienced and conscientious owners who genuinely enjoy sailing and have always taken pride in maintaining their boats to a high standard.

One thing that has remained consistent throughout their ownership history is their appreciation of the freedom that bilge keel yachts provide. The ability to explore drying harbours, tidal creeks and shallow anchorages has always been an important part of their cruising, and it is easy to see why this Legend 33 appealed to them. The bilge keel configuration, combined with the practical cruising specification, creates a yacht that is well suited to the varied waters around the UK coastline.

The inventory aboard Govean is extensive, with a full Raymarine electronics package, in-mast furling, heating, cockpit enclosure and numerous recent upgrades including davits, replacement running rigging and a water purification system. The owners have continued to maintain and improve the yacht throughout their ownership, and the recent servicing and maintenance history reflects that approach.

For anyone seeking a modern bilge keel cruiser with a strong cruising specification and a history of careful ownership, Govean is certainly worthy of consideration.
