The Skua 42 Tradewind that we offer is fully equipped for long (sea) journeys. The design of M.C. van der Vlis is characterized by good and calm sailing behaviour. The S-truss hull and deck are constructed of steel, but the superstructure and fixed sprayhood are made of aluminum for good initial stability. The cockpit is also pleasant, where there is a lot of shelter behind the fixed spray hood. The overall condition of the boat is good enough to sail away. The current owner has lived on board for a longer period of time and has always carried out renovations whenever necessary.
The interior has a cozy salon with petrol imitation leather seats, which gives a beautiful nautical look with the lacquered teak. Upon entering, you will find the wet cell on starboard, the navigation area on port side, and the kitchen with a 3-burner stove, oven, refrigerator and double sink. In the bow on starboard you will find a cabin with a double bed with deep storage drawers underneath. At port there is an extra bed with plenty of storage space. Further in the bow is another cabin with double bed.
