These yachts are also excellent as fast cruisers. The Volvo 70s can reach top speeds in excess of 30 knots and are often faster than motor yachts of the same size.
Green Dragon is a Volvo 70 Racer with carbon C6 rigging and an extremely well designed hull. She has not experienced any structural problems during the race (at the Volvo Ocean Race) and since.
The ship was completely overhauled in the summer of 2019.
Led by Ian Walker, the Green Dragon Racing Team finished fifth with 63 points.
