Finot Open 50 for sale 2007
Finot Open 50 for sale 2007 was originally conceived by a renowned architect and sailors. Perfectly suited for solo and double handed race, she is in good condition and she won the Route du Rhum in the Rhum Mono Class in 2018. Fast and reliable, clear deck layout, sleek lines, all is thought to make manoeuvre easily. She is registered under the French flag, this racing sailing boat is EU classed. Her hull is Carbon NOMEX Hexcel, as is her superstructure and deck.
In 2007, Ivan Griboval introduced us to his project of single-handed around-the-world race in one-designs, financially more affordable than the Vendee Globe. At his request, we designed a 52 feet monohull, with hull shapes very inspired by the IMOCAs we had just designed, a larger coachroof, and lower aspect ratio sails with a wing-mast.
Unfortunately, the concept doesn't find its audience, and only one boat is launched. After several trips around the world as a scientific research platform, the boat is skippered by Sidney Gavignet in the Route du Rhum 2018, and wins the Rhum Mono class.
In 2019, the boat was bought by its current owner. Stayed in Lorient 1.5 years due to the Pandemic COVID19. In the late 2020, he moved to the Black Sea (Sochi), where the boat was hauled out had antifouling and work according to the inner landscaping-galley and a toilet with the shower.
In September 2021, the boat moved to Malta, where he participated in Rolex Middle Sea Race.
Finot Open 50 for sale 2007 then went to Canary in November 2021 to Participate in the ARC regata across the ocean and in April 2022 it returned to Europe.
