Ray Hunt's masterpiece is probably the most famous, most classic, most widespread and most fascinating American sport fishing boat in the 9/10 meter range among all those produced in the world. This Fisherman has such a large number of peculiarities that it is difficult to list them all. The first observation is that the Bertram 31 in its basic version is a boat that develops on the horizontal plane offering large spaces at the expense of internal volumes and heights designed for short stays and for truly "sporty" users. The aesthetic impression that is obtained from the side view brings to mind Hemingwayan Caribbean atmospheres. The specialization towards sports activities is exasperated in every detail, but the balance of the design is such that in another 50 years you will not be able to look at this boat without feeling emotion. Dogal has been refitted and cared for by its owners so it is ready for another exciting new season of fishing and small cruise. Worth seeing.
