Remarks :
The Bavaria 36 offers class leading accommodation with a particularly spacious forward cabin and very generous storage throughout. This Bavaria 36 is the more desirable owner's cabin version with a larger heads offering more comfortable living space an early viewing is highly recommended. A 2017 survey report is available on request.
Accommodation :
The Bavaria 36 two cabin layout offers up to six berths with two double berths outside the saloon, and excellent 6'4" max headroom. FORECABIN: Considered the owner's cabin and fitted with a large double berth, large hanging locker, small seat, eye level lockers. HEADS: Separate compartment aft to starboard with Jabsco marine toilet, shower, washbasin, wet locker, and storage. SALOON: Consisting of settee berths either side of a large central table with folding leaves and excellent stowage in various lockers and cupboards. Plenty of natural light and ventilation is provided by four large opening side windows and a central hatch. GALLEY: L-shaped galley to port equipped with a gimballed 2-burner gas cooker with grill and oven, twin stainless-steel sinks, refrigerator and generous stowage in various drawers and cupboards. CHART TABLE: To starboard with electrical distribution panel, with full instrument display and useful stowage. AFT CABIN: Separate aft cabin to port fitted with a double berth, opening portlight, hanging locker and storage. GENERAL: Excellent ventilation throughout is provided by numerous opening hatches and portlights. Pressurised hot and cold-water system via calorifier with immersion heater. Blue cloth upholstery with and teak and holly sole boards throughout.

History and Construction Bavaria 36 built in 2002 by Bavaria Yachts to a design by J & J Design, achieving RCD Category A. White GRP hull with blue style stripes, superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Standard draft lead fin keel. Wheel steering to spade hung rudder. Teak laid cockpit seats and sole. Self-draining cockpit.
Mechanical :
Sails and Spars Masthead rigged Bermudan sloop. Anodised aluminium deck stepped mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging, replaced 2014. Terylene running rigging. In mast mainsail. Furling headsail. 2 x Harken 40 self-tailing sheet winches. 2 x Harken 16 self-tailing halyard winches.

Mechanical System Located beneath companionway, Volvo Penta MD2030 3-cylinder 29hp inboard diesel engine. Freshwater cooled. Single lever controls with electric start. Plastic 150 litre fuel tank. Volvo Penta saildrive with 3-bladed propeller. Saildrive gaiter last replaced 2021. Last out of water maintenance July 2021.
Electrical System 3 x 12-volt batteries 2 x domestic and 1 x engine, charged via engine alternator. Shore power system with 240-volt ring mains, battery charger, and immersion coil for water heating. Electrical distribution panel. Full cabin lighting.... ganzer Text
