This Smelne Vlet 1395 SH is more than just a vlet; it's a unique design, built in close consultation with the first and current owners. Their wish: a family boat with an open cockpit, ample living space, multiple cabins, and the option of steering at a higher level in a fully equipped wheelhouse.
The result is a particularly successful blend of two worlds: the spaciousness and coziness of an open cockpit, combined with the comfort and overview of a wheelhouse, a combination rarely encountered.
The sophisticated underwater hull, combined with the dual motorization and powerful bow and stern thrusters, provides excellent handling characteristics on both inland and coastal waters. Thanks to the electrically lowerable mast, the clearance is also limited, making even smaller waters accessible.
The Smelne Vlet 1395 SH excels in accessibility. Double side entrances provide access to the wheelhouse, the transom door connects the bathing platform to the open cockpit, and integrated staircases provide easy access to the wide gangways with secure stainless steel railings all around.
Every detail on board has been meticulously considered. The teak interior with solid moldings exudes warmth, timeless elegance, and solid craftsmanship, providing the perfect backdrop for the thoughtful layout.
The spacious open cockpit with its L-shaped cockpit settee is a wonderful place to relax. The extended saloon roof with an electrically operated sliding glass roof provides ample light and ventilation, while the canopy makes the space completely closable. Four hinged cockpit doors provide direct access to the saloon/galley, which is on the same level and features a comfortable settee, practical cupboard wall, and a fully equipped galley.
One level up is the wheelhouse, with the steering position to port and two spacious settees to starboard, perfect for enjoying the boating experience with a larger group. The bow is furnished with three cabins (five fixed berths) and two centrally accessible, separate sanitary rooms: a toilet and a shower.
There's also no shortage of storage space: ample storage space under the cockpit floor and cockpit bench, an additional storage locker in the gangway, a storage locker and cellar under the wheelhouse – everything has been cleverly used and practically laid out.
This Smelne Vlet 1395 SH is equipped to a particularly high standard. Comfort is assured thanks to the electric glass sliding hatch in the extended saloon roof above the open cockpit, a second electric glass sliding hatch above the steering position, and combination roller blinds (insect screen and blackout) under both hatches.
Furthermore, the equipment is complete, including a Raymarine ST60+ windmeter, a Victron BMV-600 battery monitor, slatted frames under all mattresses, an electrically operated bow spotlight, and an Oyster Caro+ Vision satellite receiver. For a reliable power supply, the boat is equipped with two 12V alternators and a 24V Mastervolt alternator for the bow and stern thruster batteries, a switchable dual fuel filter, electronic engine controls, an integrated bench seat on the foredeck, and a stainless steel bicycle rack on the foredeck.
