Located in New Port Richey (Tampa Bay), Florida, this lightly used 24-foot Chaparral 240 Signature is a very nice and popular express cruiser boat. It was considered the pinnacle of design and comfort in its day and remains a highly sought-after model today. This is one of those great finds that despite its age, is in great condition due to very little use and meticulous care by the owner. The owner only purchased it to entertain children and grandchildren when they visit.

Powered by a 250 HP Mercruiser 5.7L Thunderbolt engine with low hours on the meter, this Chaparral boat has many years of reliable use left. To demonstrate how little the boat has been used, the seller explains the manifolds and risers were replaced in 2016 and have only been used for 42 hours since.

Upon reviewing the rest of the boat, the theme of little use continues. The hull shows no signs of scuffs or scrapes. The full enclosure with isinglass is in serviceable condition. The cockpit upholstery is in good condition and even enhanced by a custom-made bolster cushion for the Captain. Also included in the sale is a mooring cover to give the buyer a choice of how to protect the boat when not being used.

The lightly used theme continues in the cabin. All upholstery and cushions are nice, the wet head is very clean, the galley is nicely appointed, and the aft cabin with a privacy curtain looks like it has never been used for anything but storage.
