The Altena 54 Next Generation is a stylish and contemporary steel yacht with a robust appearance. The modern design is emphasized by beautiful lines and the use of high-quality materials. The yacht features a folding façade with four elegant matte black plastic doors in polished stainless steel frames. These swinging doors provide a smooth transition to the aft deck, which runs level with the salon/steering cabin. Two side doors provide access to the gangways.

Inside the Altena 54 Next Generation is a U-dinette in the salon/steering cabin, complete with a height-adjustable electric table. The yacht is equipped with a Webasto electric panoramic sliding roof above the steering position, including a Hercules screen/sunblind combination. The many windows all around provide panoramic views and the ultimate feeling on the water. Pleated blinds and underfloor heating are present in the salon, kitchen and steering position, as well as in the bathrooms including towel radiators.

Furthermore, the yacht has air conditioning in the sleeping quarters for both cooling and heating. A sliding sun cover over the aft cockpit provides additional comfort. Hydraulic stabilizers from Vetus are located amidships for comfortable cruising, along with 2 Ankreo spud poles. The Altena 54 Next Generation also has an extensive list of amenities, including a Mastervolt Easyview 5 display, ATAG dishwasher, Siemens washer and dryer, a TV on elevator in the salon, a ventilation system in the shower rooms, heated mirrors, and a camera to the aft deck.

The yacht has several convenient features, such as fuel tanks with manhole access, an additional heating radiator in the engine room, a manifold with dual separate outboard feeds to the engines, deck wash system, thrust bearing, Flexi-teak all around and on the aft deck, stair lighting, plenty of closet space in the owner's cabin and guest cabin, spacious gangways, SIMRAD FU80 Autopilot incl. follow-up steering, Yachtcontrol software system, WiFi (excluding SIM card), and a minimum headroom with mast folded of approximately 3.65 meters.
