This 1973 Breaux's Bay Craft 40 is ready for her next job! She has been well maintained, restored and ready to go.
Her twin 671 Detroit Diesels produce 238 horsepower each are strong and more than enough for this 44 footer cruising at about 18 to 20 knots. The engine room is easily accessible with ample space for maintenance and repairs.
The wheelhouse is fully equipped with all the needed and expected electronic components all of which are in good working order. Electronics include VHF, radar, gps and more. There is also a single berth located in the Wheelhouse.
This 40 foot Crew boat survived Hurricane Ida without any damage and is looking for a new captain. Her COD is current and she is ready to resume her duties as a crew boat or could be an easy conversion to a charter fishing boat, dive boat or a number of other commercial options as well as a personal live-aboard vessel.
